We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations for a growing organization in Florida. The role calls for strong analytical judgment, a solid command of ledger activity, and the ability to keep reconciliations and reporting on track in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:• Lead monthly closing activities by preparing schedules, reviewing transactions, and ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy• Maintain the general ledger by recording, reviewing, and correcting financial activity across assigned accounts• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support and a strong focus on completeness and precision• Perform detailed reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and research discrepancies until fully resolved• Complete bank reconciliations regularly and investigate variances between banking records and internal financial data• Support financial reporting by organizing account analysis and providing clear documentation for period-end results• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve accounting workflows and uphold consistent financial controls
