Accounting Manager | Retail Location: Makati City Work Set-up: On-site Work Schedule: Monday to Friday Job Overview We are hiring a strategic and results-driven Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function of a growing retail organization. This role requires a strong finance professional with expertise in financial reporting, compliance, inventory management, and business partnering to support operational and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting activities. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports. Manage inventory accounting and reconciliation processes. Monitor compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities. Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls. Partner with business leaders to provide financial analysis and recommendations. Coordinate annual audits and regulatory examinations. Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Manage, coach, and develop the accounting team. Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial experience. Strong experience as an Accounting Manager within the Retail industry. Knowledge of inventory accounting, financial planning, and internal controls. Experience in start-up companies is highly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
