Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Henlow. The Bookkeeper will manage financial records, including recording transactions, and reconciling bank and ledger accounts. The role includes maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and working with accounting software to ensure data integrity. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide timely financial information, support budgeting and basic financial analysis, and help maintain compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including accurate recording of daily financial transactions and maintenance of ledgers.Ability to prepare and support the production of financial statements and related financial reports.Proficiency in using accounting software and related digital tools to manage financial data effectively.Knowledge of finance principles and experience creating and posting journal entries (accounting).Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work with confidential information responsibly.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with a small team.Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounts assistant role; experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is an advantage.Relevant vocational qualification or certification in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance is preferred.
