Scrub Nurse Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in order to achieve optimum patient outcome. Demonstrate competency in clinical nursing skills and knowledge in the delivery of special skills. Maintain current trends and nursing practices through formal education and self-development. Assist doctors in surgical procedures; provide post-surgical care and excellence nursing care to patients. Demonstrate knowledge in management of infection control, adhere to aseptic and sterile technique. Involve in the care and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment for staff and patient’s safety. Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve, and follow through quality/ service issues. Perform duties as assigned by the Nurse manager. PACU Nurse Responsibilities: Pre-Operative Care Collaborate with anaesthesiologists, surgeons and nursing teams to ensure patients are adequately prepared for surgical procedures. Monitor and document patients' vital signs, explain pre-operative procedures and administer intravenous fluids and medications as prescribed. Assist with patient transfers to the operating theatre and ensure the necessary equipment, instruments and patient care areas are prepared in accordance with clinical protocols. Provide updates to patients' families on their care and condition, where appropriate, while maintaining patient confidentiality. Post-Operative Care Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery following anaesthesia, provide wound care and dressing changes, and ensure patients' comfort and safety. Assist with clinical investigations, review available test results and promptly escalate any abnormalities or concerns to the attending doctors. Assess and document patients' recovery progress, ensuring their nutritional, hydration, rest and other care needs are adequately met. Educate patients and caregivers on post-discharge care, including wound management, medication instructions and recovery precautions. Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness and readiness of recovery suites and patient care areas in accordance with infection control standards. Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Nursing Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board Experience in Operating Theatre as Scrub Nurse / Circulating Nurse / AU Nurse / CSSD Nurse / PACU Nurse Good customer service skills
