Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for server-side applications. Develop and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance. Create and maintain robust APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services. Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues. Implement security and data protection best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making processes. Stay up-to-date with emerging backend technologies and industry trends. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of professional experience in backend software development. Proficiency in one or more server-side programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, Go, or C#. Strong experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) including schema design and optimization. Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Familiarity with ORM libraries and query optimization techniques. Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus. Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
