As a General Accountant with Zanovoy, you will perform a wide range of accounting functions for multiple clients across each client’s application landscape. You will be the client’s go-to person for day-to-day accounting, own the accuracy of the books you manage, and help grow our managed services practice. Lead expense management activities: accounts payable, billing and invoicing, expense accruals and prepaids, payroll processing, and vendor maintenance Lead revenue management activities: accounts receivable, revenue recognition and deferrals, revenue processing, and customer maintenance Lead accounting system management activities: journal entries, transaction coding, account and bank reconciliations, and asset and liability balance sheet entries Perform month-end close activities: close schedule, sub-ledger reconciliations, account adjustments (accruals, depreciation, write-offs, etc.), and monthly bank reconciliations Build and maintain transformation rules so that imported data posts to the correct general ledger accounts Learn each client’s back-office systems across multiple domains, including financial, payroll, CRM, and billing and invoicing Review your own work for completeness and accuracy, as well as the work of your teammates Onboard new clients into our managed services structure Prepare schedules and supporting artifacts for audit and tax support Research and resolve accounting issues, escalating complex matters with a recommended solution Manage your time to deliver client work on schedule and within budget Contribute to internal company initiatives, including process documentation, knowledge management, and enablement Perform other month-end close activities and job-related duties as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or a related field Licensed CPA (Philippines) heavily preferred 3–5+ years of general accounting experience, ideally in public accounting, outsourced accounting (KPO/BPO), or a shared services environment serving US-based clients Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting through month-end close Hands-on experience with cloud accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, and Ramp Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations) Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to communicate directly with clients and team members Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines at once High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over the accuracy of your work Collaborative mindset and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual environment Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Eagerness to learn new systems and mentor junior staff Work From Home & Schedule This role is fully remote and based in the Philippines.
